Handel's Messiah sing along 2018

The annual Handel’s Messiah Sing along at the Richard Nixon Library has become a special tradition for many families, groups, and individuals for the past 14 years on the Sunday after Thanksgiving.
The Yorba Linda Arts Alliance Foundation has produced this concert for community benefit and to share the music of G.F. Handel. More than a concert, it honors the composer’s life and gives a nod to history as people are encouraged to dress in 18th century attire!
Singers and instrumentalists, representing various choirs and orchestras throughout the southern California region, volunteer to perform this glorious oratorio to enthusiastic audiences of all ages.
This beloved Oratorio touches people’s hearts in so many ways, evidenced by the beaming smiles at the conclusion of the presentation. The audience is invited to sing along, and the East room reverberates with the sounds of the beautiful “Hallelujah Chorus”.
The concert is free to the public, making it easily accessible for everyone.
The YLAAF in the spirit of giving during the Christmas season, hopes to continue presenting this concert free of charge to our audiences.
We need your help to raise funds to be able to continue this annual Christmas tradition, and any amount would be greatly appreciated!
