<div>Wij zijn Sidney en Tom, jeugdvrienden sinds het eerste uur. Dit jaar nemen wij samen deel aan de HandbikeBattle in het Kaunertal, Oostenrijk. Dit is een uitdagende wedstrijd waarbij wij, als onderdeel van het UMCG-team, de strijd aangaan met andere revalidatieklinieken uit Nederland. De route is loodzwaar: 20 kilometer lang en volledig bergop, met op het steilste punt een stijgingspercentage van maar liefst 12%.

<div>Sinds november 2024 zijn we keihard aan het trainen om deze uitdaging aan te gaan. Sidney zal de berg beklimmen in zijn handbike, terwijl Tom als buddy op de mountainbike meefietst voor ondersteuning.

<div>Om deze bijzondere sportieve prestatie mogelijk te maken, zijn wij op zoek naar sponsoren. Dit helpt ons om de kosten voor deelname te dekken, zoals overnachtingen, vervoer, maaltijden en andere noodzakelijke uitgaven.
