Driving with Hand Controls training for Mom!

Hello,
On August of 2018 my mother Julie Miller was diagnosed with a large tumor in her spine. Soon after she had to have surgery to remove it. This was so unexpected and a terrible tragedy at the time. We didn't know what to expect and we didn't know if she would ever walk again. But that was the least of our worries. We're happy that my mom is still with us in this earth. We call her our miracle!
After the tumor was removed my mom did not have to go through any chemo which was great, but she did loose most of her mobility in her lower body and put her in a wheelchair. She is a fighter and we know that she will beat this! (Please see the pictures below)
However, while she (hopefully) does a full recovery, we are raising funds so she can gain some independence back. Because of paralysis she has lost the ability to safely drive her car and now needs to use hand controls. These have been donated and soon will be installed in her car but she needs to get an evaluation done and take some training sessions before she can drive again.
This is very important for my mom as she has always been very independent and empowered. The money raised through this fundraiser will pay for the evaluation ($500) and classes ($130 each) that she needs to safely drive again with hand controls.
Everyone loves our mom and we want her to be independent again! It would mean the world to me and those that love her if you can support our fundraiser by donating, anything helps!
