Let’s Help Hamza and Tosha Start a Family

When I think of good qualities of a parent, I think of care, love, acceptance, and nurturing. These qualities are exemplified in my dearest friends Hamza and Tosha. Any child would be lucky to have these two as parents. Unfortunately, due to Tosha’s medical condition, the only way to conceive a child is through IVF. The impact that Hamza and Tosha will have on a child is immense. You don’t have to look any further than what they have done for my own kids. Tosha has served as a second mother for my 4 children. She has been there for my kids throughout their lives, whether it be just ordinary occasions or significant life events like graduations. This means so much to my family especially considering that she has had to fly across the country having relocated to Houston. You can tell that they genuinely love her since their faces light up whenever she is around. Hamza has been a close mentor and friend to my two oldest boys. They have learned so much from him regarding life in general and rarely do they get so excited as to when they get to see him. He has taken them under his wing in a way that a parent would take care of his or her own children just due to the genuine care he has for my kids. Seeing how they are among the most caring people I have ever met, I have been waiting to see them have a child of their own. This is a great opportunity to provide a child with a caring home with constant acceptance and support. As mentioned above, after many different assessments, they have reached the point where the only possible solution to having a child of their own is to go through the IVF process. 

The following passage will take you through what Hamza and Tosha wanted to share with you in regards to this upcoming journey.

“Hello and Salam to our friends, family and loved ones,

Through our 18 years of marriage, we have been ardently praying for a successful pregnancy and the gift of parenthood. I can’t begin to describe the intense ache and longing in my heart when I think about not being able to experience this. I know that we’re going to make amazing parents, God-willing.  We have tried everything, seeing multiple doctors across 2 states only to be told IVF is going to be our only option. We trust in God Almighty and His plan and we know that anything is possible with Him. Our hope remains steady and now, through this fundraiser, we seek the means to make our hopes and prayers a reality. We humbly and sincerely ask our family and friends to help us cover the cost of IVF treatments. Your sincere prayers for us on this journey are essential, a gift and relief to our hearts. Any amount you can contribute to help give us a chance to fill our arms and complete our family is deeply appreciated. May Allah(God) relieve your burdens and answer your prayers as you have helped us and relieved us, Ameen.
The cost is approximately $23,500 which includes Medications, Egg Retrieval/Fertilization & Embryo transfer.

As a parent myself, I understand the value of children in any couple’s life and I understand why my dear friends Hamza and Tosha are eager to have their own.  Because of all the love and attention they have provided my children and all our community children with, I invite you all to pray and donate generously to help this lovely couple have a child of their own.
