Hamilton Family Love Lift Us Up

Our family is amazing,
As some of you may know.
We've been given so much love,
It multiplies like sourdough.

Thirty Eight years of grand adventure,
Since I married my best friend,
Like everyone there's misadventure,
Right now we need a hand.

Jay lost his job last summer,
But we haven't lost our way.
We share all that we have,
To be a blessing every day.

Jay's job hunt daily takes him,
To locations beyond right here.
He's a fantastic Property Manager,
The perfect job is waiting out there.

Some friends have helped to pay our bills,
Gave gifts and Christmas dinner.
We need some help to keep the house,
And fix things through the winter.

The hvac has died,
The car is leaking fluid,
The dryer switch is fried,
The bills are piled high.

We even tried to sell our home,
Many buyers came,
But when learned of the repairs,
Didn't feel the same.

We have kids in college,
We have kids at home,
We even have kids grown,
And living on their own.

We've raised our kids to change the world,
Even just their corner,
Feed the homeless, help the poor,
Care for friends and neighbors.

Our son is getting married,
A Spring wedding in Nevada,
From East Coast we will travel,
Up the creek without a paddle.

Now we need some help from others,

Before we close our eyes to sleep,

Our home repairs and bills,
The wedding in the Spring,
We'll gladly pay if forward, 
When we're on our feet again.
