Hi, my name is Elizabeth Mendez I am the niece of Hamilton Diaz. Hamilton was bitten by a brown reclusive spider. If you don’t know this spider is very poisonous, the active venom causes significant damage to the blood vessels and cell death to the tissue.

Message from Hamilton: “Hi as many of you already know I got bit by a brown reclusive a couple of times and my feet got very bad. I’m a diabetic and to make things worse my doctor said he has to amputate some of my toes and I’m hoping they don’t have to amputate more. I got gang green on my foot. As I will be out of work for a while I am hoping you can help me with any donations it will be greatly appreciated any little bit helps. I’m not sure yet how long I will be out of work and you know the bills don’t wait for anybody and niether will the Doctor bills.”

If you guys would please help with any donations to help my uncle during these hard times it will be so so greatly appreciated! A little goes a long way! Thank you all in advance.

Update:
I was bit by a brown recluse spider on 2 toes of my left foot as I slept in my cab on March 2nd, 2023. I sought medical attention immediately that day. The Wounds did not improve however … I then saw my primary care physician on April 11 - I continued to drive cross-country under duress. I met again with him on May 5th, as my toes became progressively worse. The doctor cancelled the next 2 visits (I was now only driving locally to continue treatment of the wounds). On May 19th, I went to the wound care clinic at Largo Hospital, who instructed me to report to the Emergency Room at HCA Florida Largo Hospital - the last day I worked was May 18th, 2023. I subsequently checked in to the hospital that Friday night and on Monday, had two toes amputated with follow-up surgery 2 days later to close the wounds. I was in the hospital for 9 days and I am now currently restricted to the house with a "knee walker" purchased by a family member, with instructions to stay off my left foot. I foresee several more weeks of recovery before I can put all my weight on my left foot to get up in my cab. My last paycheck was May 26th and I am the main source of household income with monthly bills in excess of $3500. I have already exhausted family assistance - any help would be greatly appreciated.
