Hamburger's Treatment
Donation protected
On Hamburger's 10th birthday, June 25th 2017, we found a lump on his ribcage.
We brought him in to the vet and paid $1,680 for blood tests, cell samples, a urinalysis, and an ultrasound.
After weeks of testing we were told he had a high white blood cell count and a mast cell tumor on his muscle wall.
After another consultation with a surgeon we found out that we need to have a CT scan to find the actual location on his side and which layer in hos body it sits. Which comes to $3,590. From there we need to have surgery to remove the tumor, estimated from $5,000 to $7,000.
After this surgery we have to move forward with chemotherapy to ensure everything is out of his system which will be another $2,000 to $4,000.
These procedures don't inclue any of his medication, hospital visits, or any other testing that may be involved.
He is a beloved pet who, besides this lump, shows no signs of sickness. He's a happy active pup with many years left to live.
We are doing everything we can to pay these bills to make sure he recovers as soon as possible. We want his remaining years to be pleasant and not filled with being sick.
