HAM Radio equipment for students

Hello, My name is Duane Cassone, call sign W7DCC. I'm trying to get a Ham Radio station and Radio Club setup for my local Job Corps. I can donate time, but I don't have any radio equipment to get them started. We have a dozen or more students studying to get their FCC Amateur Radio licenses and I'm looing for help funding a modern radio and associated equipment such as a 12V power supply and external display (monitor).

Radio Control Software $100

These young adults are awesome and deserve the opportunity to use their extra time between studies in trade exploring the world of Amateur Radio. A club station setup with modern radio technology would help these youngsters reach out across the world sharing good will with global contacts. It would give them more positive things to do on the weekends between classes, especially in winter when socked in with snow.
