Halina's Medical Fund

As most of you know, our daughter Halina suffered a cardiac arrest this past Tuesday night. She had no viable pulse and her heart was in a "quivering" state for a time period of 10-20 minutes before the paramedics resuscitated her with defibulators and CPR. The doctors believe she suffered from something called "broken heart syndrome". It is a medical condition that can be brought on by a loss of a loved one or a build up of stress. In Halina's case, we believe she was stressed to the breaking point due to a new marriage, a little baby, working full time, and going to college full time. Halina and her husband, Mike have also been going through a DIY house renovation for the last several months. That being said, our most important goal is to get Halina better. Halina has a long road to recovery over at least the next few months. With her heart being weak, she will be off work  and possibly nursing school while she recovers. Therefore, her and Mike will be down to just his paycheck for a while. Halina is still on our insurance, but there will be alot of high deductibles, copays, everyday bills, and of course, lost wages to make up.  As a family, we thank you for the many prayers that we know have brought Halina back from the brink of death by the grace of God. We ask that you will also please help us bear the brunt of the financial burden that this medical emergency will bring on. As I said before, our number one priority is Halina's health and recovery.
