Halifax Magpies Mixed abilities Rugby

We are a 17+ open age rugby team open to all no matter of skill,ability or disabilities.

Trying to get a fantastic group of lads from all kinds of backgrounds to the International mixed abilities sport (IMAS) world cup in 2021.

it’s a chance for people (able and disabled) players to come together in a non judgemental safe rugby tournament where they will experience playing against teams from all over the world.

It’s a chance for some of the players to experience something that they will never do again and be part of a team where they will feel welcomed and appreciated and a great opportunity to make like long friendships through mixed ability rugby.

who it’s for
The magpies are a group of lads that come from all walks of life, some have disabilities such as cerebral palsy as well as many hidden disabilities. some have just never played rugby before but they all have one thing in common the they want to be apart of something special and treated the same.

Why I'm raising money
Donations are need to help get equipment and travel to games as well as help the lads with everyday items such as clothing.
