Hi, my name is Halie, and I’m reaching out during one of the most difficult times of my life.
Earlier this year, after enduring homelessness, I finally began to rebuild. I found a job. I got my first real place — a home that gave me hope again. For the first time in a long time, I felt safe, stable, and proud of what I’d managed to overcome.
But just days after returning to work from forced medical leave for previous heart-related health issues, I was let go. The company downsized, and I was one of the first to be cut. I lost my income on May 15th, and now my rent of $695 is due in 3 days.
I’ve already been through so much this year — physically, emotionally, and financially. My health has been a serious concern, and I was doing my best to recover while still holding onto work. To lose it all again so soon is crushing.
I’m trying everything I can to get back on my feet, but right now I can’t do this alone. If you can donate, share, or even just offer encouragement, it would mean everything to me. Every bit truly helps — and every kind gesture reminds me not to give up.
Thank you for reading. Thank you for caring.
With love and hope,
Halie
