Hal Feeney Memorial Fund

On August 13th, 2016, our parents, Hal and Barbara Feeney, celebrated 50 years of marriage with the entire family there to celebrate.  It was the last time we were all together as a family until Tuesday, January 24th, 2017.

WHAT HAPPENED?
On Sunday, January 22nd, 2017, tornadoes impacted the area near my parents home just south of Brunswick, GA.  On Monday the 23rd, Hal was helping with debris cleanup in one of the local neighborhoods when an accident occurred.  Hal was hit in the head with a tree limb from the top of a falling tree.  Hal sustained severe head trauma and loss of blood and was transported to the nearest Level 1 Trauma center in Jacksonville, FL, one hour away where he underwent emergency surgery to stablize and repair the fractures and wounds and to stop the bleeding.  Hal spent two weeks in the UF Health Jacksonville Neurological ICU before passing away on February 7, 2017.

WHAT IS NEEDED?
With our father's passing, we have decided to use these funds for miscellaneous funeral expenses.
