Ambulance services play a vital role in providing medical supplies, emergency health care services and clinical interventions - services that are a necessity in all areas of the world and yet are lacking in many parts of Pakistan. Stationed in Kaladab Azad Kashmir, Haji Akbar Welfare trust sought to bridge the gap between poverty and necessity by providing a brand new purpose built emergency response service to surrounding villages.
Since July 2020, Haji Akbar Welfare trust has been providing aid by transporting people to local and regional hospitals, including expert health care providers in Islamabad for specialist treatment. Travelling far and wide, hopes to continue to provide a free service to support the elderly, the needy, the less able and the less fortunate in Pakistan.
