Project Medishare and Haiti: Time to Fundraise Again!

Hello everyone! We've created this new site to ask for your help in our continued effort to help those at Bernard Mevs Hospital (BMH) in Port Au Prince, Haiti. While we are now returning yearly, we all realized in our first visit that this place, and the pediatric patients we care for here, are incredibly special.

From January 9-16, 2018 we will travel to Port-au-Prince where we will spend 8 days with pediatric patients at BMH. We will work in the PICU, NICU and pediatric ward, with residents, attendings and nurses, to provide care and educate staff.

With our previous fundraiser, your donations allowed us to fund two trips including flights, donations to Project Medishare, and suitcases full of much needed medical supplies (and a few toys). Every year, Project Medishare, who runs the volunteer program at BMH asks for a small donation from volunteers. We would like to continue to go above and beyond this donation, giving as much as we can in the way of money and supplies that they desperately need.

We are so excited and proud to be a part of the Bernard Mevs and Project Medishare community in Haiti, and we are hoping to provide them with more than our time....more money! Please consider contributing, and thanks so much for reading!
