Hello!
My name is Lizzy, and I am a graphic designer and photographer, currently working for the Archdiocese of Boston. I graduated from Franciscan University of Steubenville in May, and I am so excited to continue in the spirit of St. Francis through mission!
This April, I have been blessed with the opportunity to serve as a chaperone on a mission trip to Haiti with SeaSide LifeTeen from Hingham, MA. Our trip will be made through an organization called Haiti180 - a group founded by Sean Forrest to reach out to the poorest of the poor and show God's love to them in tangible ways. I have heard from many friends about the impact Haiti has had on them, and I am excited to share in this with the teens.
The fundraising goal for each member of our team is $2000. The money we raise will be used to fund our flights to and from Port-au-Prince, for transportation to and from Kay Mari (the orphanage), food and supplies for the team during the week, and a direct donation to continue helping the people of Haiti even after we depart. In addition to this, each missionary will be bringing a checked bag filled with donations for the orphans and elderly.
While your financial support is important, we also need your prayers for the team and for the mission! If you are unable to contribute financially, please help us spiritually.

Know that I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers too - let me know of any intentions I can pray for, both as I prepare for mission, and while ministering to the people of Haiti.
