It has come to this......food stamps Putting my pride aside and seeking compassion and humanity. Hello GoFundMe Angles, My name is Anna and like many Americans, I was happy and successful running my own business, Hair Solutions in Sausalito California for the last four years. COVID 19 blindsided us like a stringing slap in the face! Like many of my family, friends and acquaintances, there was no preparation or contingency plan in place, as a single mother of my sweet twelve year old son, it has created a living hell for me personally and professionally. As a sole proprietor my business offers hair replacement solutions for clients suffering from cancer hair loss from chemo and radiation treatments. I also offer my services to women suffering from the traumatic effects of alopecia/balding. I felt so fortunate to find a crucial niche by helping such a special and fragile group of people to look better and boost their self confidence again and re-establish a sense of normalcy back into their lives. Observing the transformation of each client fills my heart with joy and contentment beyond imagination. I am passionate about my work and feel fortunate to have a business that "gives back." My business and livelihood have been completely ripped out of my hands in such a cruel and unprecedented manner leaving me helpless, devastated and mentally paralyzed! How do I pay my commercial landlord?  How to pay everyday living expenses for my son and for me. I am frightened and overwhelmed by the enormity of it all. How do you tell your twelve year old son you can't cook his favorite meal because you can't afford groceries? How do I buy gasoline and maintain the insurance for my car? Once considered the most basic monthly experiences now seem astronomical.  The most frightening of all, and the cause of many sleepiness nights, is the helpless feeling of the dark cloud looming over my head. Not knowing when will my landlord give me thee "eviction notice". Eviction is that really happening?  Living life one day at a time attempting to remain possitive, I have attempted over and over again for the small business loan ( Payment Protection Plan) and the self employed hair stylist unemployment. I found it that I was approved for thank goodness!  Fortunately I am putting food on the table for my son and me. But, a stack of bills and four month of back rent for my business and continually accumulate on the kitchen table. This stress combined with the concern for my sons well being is nearly unbarble- I am at my breaking point!  After reading so many GoFundMe touching success stories, ironically I find myself here, requesting you help.  A little compassion and humanity to maintain a roof over our heads and help catch up on the bills.  Finally, I want to thank all of you GoFundMe readers, from the bottom of my heart to take the time to read my story and consider contributing financial, emotional and mental rescue for my son and me. I hope to save my business that I cherish with my entire being.
