Hair of the Dog/Anita Medical Fund

Anita Edwards, a lifelong Casper, Wyo., resident has operated Hair of the Dog near CY for 17 years. She provided a loving place for hundreds of dogs who came in for grooming. She has been kind and caring to her clients. 

About a month ago, Anita went into the hospital with bacterial pneumonia and kidney failure. She has since been to a heart specialist. Doctors are monitoring her kidneys. She is now on oxygen full time. 

Her business, Hair of the Dog, has been closed since her illness. Many of her clients know that it is a small business she operates with help from her daughter Jena. 

With just of the two of them working, they have not been able to afford health insurance. With the business closed, Anita has had no income. Her medical bills have soared past $14,000, as of 12/16/2017. More bills are expected are arrive soon.

Anita is not one to ask for help. She is the kind of person who would try to go it alone, no matter what. Friends and family are unwilling to stand by and let Anita, a kind-hearted and hard-working woman, do this. Please help Anita with her medical bills and this will help her ease her mind as well as speed her recovery.
