Hailey's Washington DC Trip
Donation protected
This school year has been phenomenal for Hailey. She qualified for, and enrolled into the Talented and Gifted Educational Program, Hailey has also begun classes in a coding academy, as an after school program. She has worked very hard to reach a certain goal in Girl Scouts and recently succeeded. Its no secret we are very proud of her. Hailey has now recieved a once in a lifetime opportunity to attend a leadership conference in Washington DC. Hailey was nominated by her teacher to attend the Junior National Young Leaders Conference this summer in Washington DC. Hailey was nominated due to her current leadership skills, demonstration of maturity, and great academic achievement. The conference offers leadership focus groups and creating a student - led presentation on the Voices of Change project. Nominees will also be visiting the Smithsonian National Museum of American History, Harper's Ferry, the U.S. Capital, Exhibition Hall, Emancipation Hall, numerous War Memorials. There will also be a sleepover at the Maryland Science Center, which is Haileys passion and long time focus of attention.
Hailey is so excited to attend this great program. Her father and I work hard to give her and our two boys every opportunity we can, to excel in life. Unfortunately, this opportunity came about without enough time to plan and save.
