#HAILEYSTRONG!

Family and friends as you may or may not know. My daughter Hailey has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Hailey is a 17 year old girl, her sense of humor and her infectious laugh is what stands out about her!!

She is smart, funny and very independent!! Hailey is heading into adulthood with stride! She is on track to greatness. Only needing a couple of credits to graduate High School and stepping it up to some colleage classes to get a jump start on life.

Around mid November Hailey started to not feel so well. She was taken to the ER and lab work was done. The blood work showed lowered red count and slightly elevated white count we were told to follow up with her primary DR. the following day. The next day her primary took a look at the results. He thought they looked odd and thought possibly mono or anemia but wasnt sure. He suggested we go back to the ER and have more labs run. Thus began the rollercoaster ride we are on today!

The next few weeks were a build up to the un-expected! So we were off to the ER. They did more lab work and came to the conclusion she was amenic from what her labs were showing and put her on an (iron suppliment). Hailey still wasn't feeling right, so we had a few more appointments. We found out that this could be something more than just anemia. Hailey had plans to go on a family vacation with her mom, step-dad and siblings in the begining of December. Knowing of the potential of having to miss the trip Hailey came to terms with that. After a Dr. appointment  (Thursday, the day before vacation) Hailey was exited!! The Dr. told her that her preliminary counts looked alright enough to go on vacation. The following morning the Dr. called and suggested that she not take the trip. We were all floored. Hailey was bummed out about it all, but accepted it all very well. She stayed with dad and we had a pretty good time. However she did sleep a lot.. A couple more appointments and BOOM!! Life trys to turn itself upside down..

On Friday Dec 22nd she was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma after a week long hospitalization with numerous tests and a biopsy of her lymph node was preformed. The scan concluded that the cancer is in both the top and bottom lymphatic system. It showed some cancer in the bone as well. The bone marrow results came back positive in her right hip bone and negative in her left. She also had some lesions on her rib and her pancreas as well as spine. Which doctors told us she is stage 4. This news was so devastating but we know thru GOD's promise and Haileys determination she will get through it. Time is of the essence and she just started Chemotherapy on Jan.4th 2018. The road for Hailey will be a tough road with ups and downs. But with FAITH and FERVENT PRAYER Hailey will make it through the (FURNACE) treatments.

Daniel 3:17 If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.

Hailey remains happy and ready to fight!!

As we all know there will be a landslide of bills coming in very soon. Any and all donations will be very much appreciated. These funds will not only help with the out of pocket expenses for uncovered portions of the treatments. It will help with any education/tutor cost from missing school. Hailey has already missed her FINALS from Last Semester and is going to miss more classes due to future chemo treatments. Your contribution will also help with any travel expenses and lodging for any other future treatment or treatment options, including medications.
