Hi, friends, believers, and investors. I'm asking for donations to address a series of emergencies I've been struggling to shoulder on my own. Any amount helps. In an attempt to not feel ashamed for asking for money, and for my business to survive, I am prepared to offer different creative/artistic "thank yous" for anything given, listed below.

At the end of 2022, beginning of 2023, I was overmedicated on prescription "antidepressants" by a local doctor. I suffered two near-death experiences and became chemically addicted in only 34 days to one of the drugs. I'm lucky to be alive. I'm still facing major setbacks when it comes to my health and well-being. I've been embarrassed and isolated, trying to support myself and continue with my tattoo business, not to mention a number of logistical issues.

Now, I'm a little behind on my rent, some of my machines need repair, and I just want to continue to make art and be a positive influence in the world. Please donate what you can.

I'm fully aware that this is a terrible time to ask for money, but I need help. I have had difficulty in life standing up for myself and reaching out before it gets too bad, thinking I can try to fix it on my own. I feel like I've reached a point where I can't fix this hurdle on my own, and I need to tap into support that might be around me.

I fully intend on being operational and functioning and keeping the tattoo shop open with regular hours. It's taken some time to heal, and I'm still healing. Tattooing is my career. Art is my life. This is what helps me to keep going.

Please only give what you can, or share privately among your people. Please, please, please don't post or share publicly, I don't really want to see a "save Alicia's tattoo shop" campaign drawing unnecessary attention and give haters the satisfaction of seeing me when I'm low.

If there's anyway we manage to exceed my goal, extra money will just go to tattoo art supplies and taking care of my health. It would be nice to have a good camera for taking photos of artwork, but that's not a priority thing. Just makes sharing art and marketing easier on me later.
