HAEC Study Abroad Ghana 2024

I have been fortunate enough to participate in a HAEC study abroad program in Ghana. Students with African ancestry can study abroad and participate in student exchange programs offered by the HBCU Africa Education Coalition (HAEC), which employs a Pan-African model to foster Pan-Africanism, Global Competency, and Leadership abilities. In order to take action to improve the equity and inclusivity of my local, national, and global ecosystems, I, together with other student leaders from HBCUs and African Universities, will concentrate on the values of identity and the primacy of Africa, humanism, African unity, and socialism. My acceptance letter from HAEC to study abroad in Africa for the summer of 2024 arrived in November of 2023. The entire expense came around $4,500, although I did get some financial assistance for a portion of the trip through scholarships. I have $2,000 left, so anything you can do to help would be greatly appreciated.
