Hadley's Journey

Darrin and Brittany Gray met in July of 2013 and were married in September of 2014. They were blessed with Hadley Belle Gray for a daughter on July 20th, 2015.
On 2/26/18, they started a journey that they never would have planned for their family, but they have to keep faith that God has them here for a reason.
They started the morning at the doctor for Hadley's regular check up at the pediatrician and questioned a few bruises on her legs. After some blood work, Hadley was quickly admitted to the Saint Jude clinic at Niswonger Children’s Hospital in Johnson City, TN.
Hadley was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia.
Hadley and Brittany were flown to Saint Jude's Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN on 2/27/18 and Darrin drove to meet them there. There is not much known about the prognosis or any statistics until the doctors are able to do further testing. We are staying optimistic and will update this page as we learn more.
The Grays are looking at a pretty long stay in Memphis... 6-9 months is what is typically expected for a complete chemotherapy treatment. Both parents hope to be able to see Hadley through the entire process but this will require some additional help. Not only will this be emotionally difficult for them, but it will also be financially challenging. Neither parent is expecting to be able to work through the duration of Hadley's treatment.
Whatever you are able to donate will be greatly appreciated by the Gray family. If expenses are less than predicted, the Grays will give the excess donations to the organizations responsible for Hadley’s treatment.
We also ask for your prayers. We know who the Healer is and it doesn’t matter what they tell them in Memphis- His will shall be done.
