Hadley Myers Medical Fund

Hadley Ann Myers was born at 37 weeks on February 19th with a rare multi-system genetic disease called tubular sclerosis. Tubular sclerosis causes benign tumors to grown on the brain and other vital organs (in Hadley's case, her heart).

Hadley's mom, Tianna, was being monitored at the University of Washington Medical Center for 1 week prior to her birth because tumors on Hadley's heart had resulted in an irregular heartrate. After that week of testing and monitoring, the doctors decided to perform an emergency c-section.

After her birth, Hadley was rushed to Children's Hospital where doctors had to shock her heart with a defibrillator multiple times. She stayed at Children's for 2 weeks undergoing various tests and further monitoring. Hadley finally came home on March 5th.

With medical bills starting to come in, the expenses of being in Seattle hospitals for 3 weeks, and many more doctor visits coming up, Hadley's parents (Tim and Tianna) need to focus on taking care of their baby girl.

Tim is back to work but Tianna plans to stay home with Hadley full time to administer the necessary medications and other special care she needs.
