Habana Tornado Aid

36611578_1548693118496459_r.jpegOn Sunday, January 28, 2019. Habana has encountered a rare tornado that has killed 3 individuals and left hundreds greatly injured. Yet thousands and thousands have lost it all. Families in Cuba live in a constant struggle for survival literally, due to very low incomes and little economic government aid. The average cuban family earns 767 cuban pesos or 30 CUC (30 American dollars) “If you buy food you can not buy clothes, if you buy clothes you can not eat, we live every day thinking about how to come up with ways to survive,” This is the struggle every Cuban faces on the daily basics.
My goal is to raise some funds that I can personally hand to in need families in Habana. Allowing the individual to chose what to use the money for, as everyone may have different priorities. (maybe around $100/ family)
I have a trip to Habana booked for March 9th. I am Cuban born and raised, and feel called to help. All I ask is for a couple dollar donation, every cent will help.
Contact me to see the faces you helped
I can provide you with videos/photos of the people who I gave the aid to and their living conditions etc.
Much love.
