Cancer Kicking Car Fund for Elaine

There are those that give, and there are those that take. We meet them everyday in life. Some we know deeply, others we know from a far through social media.  When you meet a giver, a true giver, you can't help but want to share their selflessness.

Elaine and I went to school together over 25 years ago. Thanks to Facebook, we have reconnected through the Interweb. This past year, this woman who has given so much, found out she had cancer.  Elaine never backed down, never cried victim. No, she is fighting like mad and kicking cancer's ass.

But, as strong as she is, she is still only human, flesh and blood, and can only be so strong for herself, and her kids.  As I write this, the holiday season is upon us, and in a cruel act of fate, her car has decided it was time to go belly up, adding one more stressor to her life.

In order for Elaine to get healthy, she needs less stress, not more.  This funding campaign is to help her buy a car.  100% of the proceeds we raise will help her buy a used car for her and her two children.
