Papa's Crusade Against Myeloma

Donation protected
On November 6, 2014 at 12:53pm I lost my father, Jeffrey "Kwasi" Smith. He was the best man that I know and understood me more than anyone. I loved my father dearly and as he used to say he was right 99.9% of the time. The day he left I decided to attribute as that .1% that he was wrong since he did not want to leave us that day, however sometimes we do not have a say in these matters. My father had Multiple Myeloma which is a cancer involving the bone marrow.  His disease was particularly unique as it was more aggressive and presented with features that were not common for the disease which in turn made it so much more challenging to treat. In his memory my family and I would like to raise money and offer a donation to the Research & Development Office of John Hopkins Univeristy Hospital for new treatments for Multiple Myeloma.  My family and I do not want anyone to go through the suffering that my father had to endure.  Our goal is three thousand dollars but more is always better.  We appreciate anything that anyone can offer. I lost the one of the most important man in my life to this disease and I just do not want anyone else to lose the one they love.
