Fight for MJ Trusty

Donation protected
Long before Erick Trusty served his country as a Military Working Dog Handler, he was my best friend. After eight deployments, missing birthdays, holidays and nearly making the ultimate sacrifice on a tour to Afghanistan, Erick Trusty’s wife Jessie gave birth to his first child, Madelyn June Trusty (I call her MJ). She was born 3.5 months too early. That’s right; MJ was born at 25 weeks and weighed just 15 ounces. I’ve known Erick since eighth grade (that’s over 20 years), and in that time he has never failed me. He has never said “no” and he has never wavered. When it comes to grading friends, Erick Trusty makes the all-time list. Now, he needs our help.

Erick is on active duty in the Air Force and is stationed in Wichita Falls, TX. His wife a veteran and a nursing student student working hard to develop her career and support their family. Their daughter is in a hospital 2.5 hours away in Ft. Worth, TX. He and his wife are forced to travel between cities to pick up supplies, clean clothes, and mow the grass (among other chores) as well as take care of their older son Pacey. Here’s the bottom line… MJ is fighting for her life, Erick and Jessie are doing everything they can to help her live, and we can support them with prayers, positive thoughts, and money. Please provide all the prayers and positive energy you can. If you would like to make an immediate impact, please open your hearts and your wallets for this cause. Erick did not ask me to set up this account, but I wanted to do something to help a brother who has done so much for me and this great country of ours.

Your donations will be used for healthcare costs, travel, and food/living expenses. Please join the fight by pledging your prayers and opening your wallets to MJ’s cause. If you are considering donating to a charity this holiday season, there is no better mission than helping a veteran and saving the life of his beautiful baby girl. Thank you for taking the time to read this message. I hope you have a blessed day!
