Help me save a 2 year old's best friend, Charlie.
My good friend's sweet dog, Charlie suffered a cruciate ligament rupture last week. His mobility is compromised and he requires knee surgery.
A little bit about Charlie: he is a Shar Pei/Great Dane cross, and he was rescued from Northern BC when he was 3 months old. His previous owners had docked his tail at home themselves without a vet. Despite this early trauma, Charlie is the most loving, gentle, happy dog who happens to have the cutest wiggly bum when gets excited. He has been the best addition to their family and lives. Charlie is now an extremely healthy 8 year old dog. He is happiest when spending his time running off leash, swimming in the river, playing with his little brother, Avery (age 2), and of course, napping on the couch.
As with most families, it is currently tough times, and Charlie's family has experienced financial uncertainty from paycheck to paycheck. Charlie deserves to live out his golden years living the best life possible.
The family would appreciate any support you can offer towards his surgery. The estimated cost is $3500 and surgery has been scheduled for May 11th, 2020. Every little bit helps, no matter how small (even the equivalent of a Starbucks coffee adds up!)
