Roxie has always been there to take care of ger family And friends whenever they needed it no questions asked and without expecting anything in return. Well now it's time that we get to pay it forward to her. Roxie was let go of her job of 15 years unfairly in February of this year. At that time she had her brother, daughter and grand daughter with autism living with her. Being a survivor and a go getter Roxy was Able to do whatever she had to in order to make ends meet along with the help from her brother. Unfortunately, in October, her brother Mike passed away very unexpectedly. Which now makes it that much more difficult to stay afloat Financially .
Roxie has been endlessly job hunting since losing her job but it seems that due to her age she has been unable to get one.
Roxie is a single mother of 5 in which only 1 being her biological child. Roxie opened her heart and her HOME to 4 of her nephew's and niece and took them in as her own starting from ages2 and younger and raised most of them into adults and helping the last one be reunited with his mother. She now enjoys spending time with her 4 grandbabies in this HOME. this Home is filled with a life time of memories. The struggles and the good time. It's not just her home, It's the family's home. Roxie's Main goal throughout this difficult and trying past year has been to keep her family's home so she can keep her autistic granddaughter in the great school program she's in.
On a more personal note... my mother is heart broken and terrified. at this point she has and is trying everything she can but at this point she doesn't know what to do and is quickly losing faith. It is exctramly hard to see my mother struggle soo much and not be able to help especially knowing how much she's helped me! I am not the biological child I am the niece she took in and the way I see it she saved my life! She kept me and my brothers from getting lost in the system. She kept us with family and raised us together as family. She is the STRONGEST person I know and to see her breaking kills me. So please any help we can get is greatly appreciated .
