Help Feed 1500 Homeless This Winter
Donation protected
On any given night there are roughly 1,500 people homeless in the Illawarra. This includes men, women, children and youth. Most people are couch surfing eg. staying in overcrowded conditions sleeping on floors and sofas. There are others are staying in specialist homeless services, however there are those who are rough sleeping in parks, under bridges, and on trains and in cars.
It is my mission to feed every single one of them this winter by raising $50,000 but I can't do it alone.
With your help and the support of 2 amazing woman Shaz Harrison-Shaw from Need A Feed and Julie from Wollongong Emergency Community Housing and Homeless Hub I firmly believe we can realise this dream.
The Illawarra is notorious for their generosity, we are powerful in numbers and every little donation counts. We live in an amazing community and beautiful country, if you're anything like me you would count your blessings daily however there are some not quite as fortunate, who have fallen on hard times, who need care and support but more importantly shelter and food, I ask you not to dig deep but just a little to help those in our own back yards in need.
