Olivia's medical and travel expense

In June 2011 Olivia was diagnosed with a benign recurrent brain tumor called a craniopharyngioma. She had an unsuccessful surgery to remove the tumor, and it grew back by February 2012. Olivia's pituitary gland was badly damaged during the second surgery because of the placement of the tumor. For 2 months afterward, she was treated with an expensive and special type of radiation at the IU Proton Therapy Center in Bloomington, Indiana. Since 2012 the tumor has not recurred and Olivia is monitored closely by a group of wonderful physicians at the Peyton Manning Children's Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. After the second surgery, Olivia developed health complications as a result of the pituitary gland being damaged. She now suffers from growth hormone deficiency, seizure disorder, hypothyroidism, and a suppressed immune system. While the medications she takes can, for the most part, control some of the symptoms she has- Olivia still ends up in the hospital a few times a year with complications. We have been humbled and grateful for the love, financial and emotional support, and prayers we have received from people all over our community and across several states to help us continue living a normal lifestyle, but with changes in the health insurance industry, we are now faced with another mountain to climb-medical bills. All proceeds from this account will directly fund Olivia's current and future medical bills from St Mary's Hospital, St Vincent Hospital, and Peyton Manning Children's Hospital, and travel expense so that our family can make the trips to Indianapolis to have her treated.
