Volunteer trip to South Africa

On February 18th I will start my journey volunteering with IVHQ for the Surf, Skate, and Swim project in Table View-South Africa! For one month I and a bunch of other volunteers will be working with a local school aiding in after-school activities that caters to students from low-income communities. The main goal of the project is to keep the children occupied and off the streets after school while providing them with confidence building activities.
I've been a swim instructor for 3 years now and swam competitively for 4, so being able to teach the kids what I love to do would be amazing! I am so grateful to be apart of this right now. With taking a year off of college and working part time as a swim instructor I thought this would be the perfect time to do what I've always wanted to do! What better way to help others in need!
Everything for this one month trip is entirely self funded, all of your donations will go to (program fees, registration fees, flights,travel insurance, vaccinations, etc.). I will also be donating supplies to the local school such as pencils, paper, and crayons.
I NEED YOUR HELP!! Any amount of donations will be greatly appreciated. I know it will be an incredible experience and your support means the world to me! I will keep you guys updated as my journey continues!
