IVF, Our Only Hope For A Miracle.

Marge Kennedy once said "Each of us enters the world because hope for the future preceded us." My wife Michelle and I have been trying to have a baby for a little over two years now. She will be upset with me putting us out there like this, but you gotta do what you gotta do. Our first miscarriage was October 15, 2014. March 2015 she had an ectopic pregnancy that almost took her life, but only claimed a fallopian tube. I use only loosely because 7 months after her first ectopic she had another ectopic pregnancy that claimed her remaining fallopian tube. Our only hope to start a family of our own is through IVF treatment that will cost up to $20,000.00 and insurance doesn't cover it and we might never be able to afford it. Asking for anything has always been asking for too much for me. As a father I would be willing to do anything for my family, as a man I'm able to swallow my pride and ask for help with this. I grew up watching my father doing everything in his power to keep his family afloat. I've seen humbleness and humility in the strongest man I've ever known. He taught me that at the end of the day, you can't hold and kiss pride, you can't pass it to your mother for a unforgettable moment in time. You can't teach pride to ride a bike or see it off to college, but you can be proud of all those things your pride didn't get in the way of.
