Volunteering in Tanzania

In Tanzania, 67.9 percent of the population lives below the poverty line. An estimated 1.6 million Tanzanians have Aids and 1.3 million children have been orphaned as a result of Aids – and malaria which is the highest cause of death among children.

Living more luxuriously, we take for granted the fact that we have all the basic necessites,  a roof over our heads, food and a family to come home to everyday.

All these basic things that we dont fully appreciate are what people living in disadvantaged parts of the world like Tanzania could only wish for.

In October 2018, I will be travelling to Tanzania to volunteer at an orphanage, take part in building wells and other activties to help make a small but significant difference to the lives of these people.

The money that I raise will go straight to the islamic help charity projects to support the orphans, malaria prevention, water solutions, health programmes, supporting schools and much more.

I would be extremely grateful if you could assist in supporting me on this life changing journey in order to make a change to the lives of people living in Tanzania.
