Hi Friends,
Our amazing friend Bonnie needs our help. Bonnie was recently diagnosed with cancer of the throat. She has seen several doctors--Grand Marais, Duluth and Mayo. The surgery she needs is only available at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.
Bonnie and Dave have no medical insurance to cover the cost. In trying to establish a payment schedule they were informed that they would need to pay for surgery in full in advance. The estimate they were given was $60,000 assuming no chemo or radiation is needed after the surgery. The cancer was detected early but the urgency is to have the surgery before the cancer can spread.
As we all know, she is one of the most caring, sweetest, loving individuals on the Gunflint Trail. Any amount will help. Please donate if you can.
