Brie's Brave Battle

Brieanna has been bravely battling a rare form of cancer called Rhabdomyosarcoma for more than 3 years. Her treatment has included 2 separate 1 year stays at St Jude in Memphis away from her home in FL. After the first year of treatment she was cancer free for 6 months and then relapsed. She underwent another year of treatment at St Jude and was home for almost 9 months. She recently developed a cough and after a couple weeks of it not getting better, an x-Ray revealed a mass on her lung. Upon arriving at St Jude a PET scan has revealed that the cancer has spread throughout her body. The doctors feel that it has spread to the point that it is not curable. She will now begin treatment to slow the growth and hopefully allow her to come home and enjoy time with friends and family. We also hope to be able to travel some to see places, family, and friends that she loves. Thank you to everyone for the love and concern.
