Help Elisa win her fight

Dear friends,
As many of you know, our dear friend, Elisa Price, has been struggling with colon cancer for many months now. She and her husband, Robert Price, are very private people. They have tried to manage for months on their own. Elisa is an English major at Clayton State University, her senior year has been curtailed by illness. Moreover, she had to discontinue her business, Critter Sitters at the beginning of 2017 due to her illness.
Elisa has been a resident of Fayette county since 1995, She is a proud parent of a Sandy Creek HS and Georgia Southern alumnae. She is an animal advocate, volunteering for St Nicks Closet, Fayette Humane Society, Fayette County Animal Shelter and Lost Dogs.
Elisa’s husband, Robert Price, is also a disabled veteran. He returned to school about a year ago to become an airplane mechanic and only recently found a job in Tennessee. He has been working 4 days a week in Tennessee and then travelling back to Georgia for 3 days to take care of Elisa. Friends have asked them repeatedly, “What can I do for you?” “What can our community do for you?” And, except for taking an occasional meal, they have replied, “We can handle it.” This week after weighing through medical bills and their one income, they have decided to ask for help. The bills have overwhelmed them.
Chemotherapy costs are exorbitant. Yet each day, their goal is to win the fight against cancer. If you can make a donation to help this generous couple, it would most certainly be appreciated.
Sadly, each one of us may know someone touched by cancer. Close your eyes, open your heart and think of that person. Please think of Elisa as well.
