Nicaragua Mission Trip 2018

We are so excited to announce that we are heading back to Nicaragua this summer. Last year’s trip was life changing for both Mike and I. We cannot wait to have our feet on Nicaraguan soil again, to share the good news of Jesus Christ. We will be working alongside local missionaries and national workers at Project Hope again, working in the village of Dios Provee, working at the city landfill feeding the children, visiting with women at a cancer hospital, sharing testimonies with men at the prison, spending time loving on the children at the village preschools and Taellor House, and sharing the gospel with thousands of locals at a soccer tournament. Once again, our prayer for Nicaragua is that there will be a deep penetration of the gospel and social change and that God may use us to be a part of that change. We understand and are obedient to God’s command for us to go. Now, we need partnerships to make this mission successful. We would personally like to invite you to embark on this mission with us. Through prayer and funding, although you may not be walking the streets of Nicaragua with us, you will be just as much a part of this mission as are we. In the upcoming weeks, we ask that you pray for our team as we mentally, culturally, financially and spiritually prepare for this trip. We ask that you pray that our team will stay healthy, that our efforts will have a lasting impact in the community and that God will use this trip to provide immeasurably more than we could offer or predict for those we reach. For those partnering with us financially, we thank you. By contributing to this mission, you, as donor, acknowledge that the church has full authority to apply contributions designated to this mission to other purposes in the event the mission is canceled or oversubscribed. We have an urgency to share the gospel with the nations and could not do it without you. Carl FH Henry wrote, “The Gospel is only good news if it gets there in time.” In scripture, Isaiah 6:8 says “Then I heard the voice of The Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?’ And I said, ‘Here am I. Send me!’” We cannot thank you enough for your willingness to partner with us on this mission.
