Elsie Lapaz Brain Tumor Surgery

My mother Elsie Lapaz , who lives in the Philippines and who has No Medical Insurance was diagnosed with brain tumor on November 9, 2014. My mother would call me time to time and tell me certain situations where she would not feel good and I would tell her that I will send her money and that she needs to go to the doctor. She first went to a regular doctor in the earlier part of last week complaining about pain in her eyes and face and they told her to come back because the doctors was not for sure what actually was wrong with her. On Saturday,November 8, 2014 my aunt was on skype with her and she saw that her face and eyes were swollen as if she had a mini stroke. So my aunt advised her to go get a catscan done so that she could find out what was actually wrong with her. My other aunt took my mother to the hospital and that is how she found out that she had a large size tumor on her brain. The doctor at the hospital Adviced my aunt and my mother that she needs the brain surgery done right away because the severity of the tumor was unknown. So i received a text from my aunt on November 11, 2014 @ 12:11 am that my mom was in the hospital and she needs to have a brain tumor operation done and they told her the cost of the procedure. So when my aunt told me the cost we panicked because the cost of the surgery was way beyond our budget and we Can't afford it. So my aunt and I started crying on the phone and was trying to figure out who can help us and what could we do for my mom.  At this moment , I started calling and texting family members and friends to see if they can send any money possible small or big to please send it to us so that we can send it to my mother and I also said that if they had nothing to give to please keep her and our family in their prayers! One of my friends told me about this website and said to check it out. I found out and read that your website helps out families in need like ours. From my heart, I am just asking for people with any heart to please support us in keeping my mom Alive!
