Monterey Park Victim -Muoi Ung Memorial Fund
Hello Everyone,
My name is Binh. I am the godson and nephew of Muoi Dai Ung. Muoi Dai Ung was one of the deceased victims from the Massacre Shooting at Star Ballroom in Monterey Park on January 21, 2023.
My godmother, Muoi Dai Ung, was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She was sweet, kind, generous and displayed a passion to enjoy life, one that was heartlessly taken from her. She came to the states and reunited with her children just ten years ago. She was taken too soon from her children. Her death has bestowed upon us an unimaginable emptiness and depression that continues to leave us in a sorrowful state. Instead of celebrating with family and friends for the Lunar New Year, we are now given the hardship and responsibility to organize her memorial service.
It is with great sorrow and grief that I have to create this GoFundMe on behalf of Muoi Dai Ung's family to help with the financial expense to cover for her burial. The family does not have the immediate financial funds to cover for the expenses of this unforeseen tragedy. At this time, I humbly ask for any donations, big or small, to contribute to her funeral expenses at hand. This will greatly help ease the family's financial burdens while we continue to be in mourning.
