Carmellas vet bill

This is Carmella. Her sister girl is still missing.  I went to leave my house this morning and seen blood everywhere and my dog sitting by the car. When I walked down the steps to get stuff out the truck she started limping over to me. I thought maybe she just hurt her paw only to find out she was serverly hurt. I took her to one vet which they couldn't help her because of how bad it was. She needed intensive 24 hour care.  She's currently at cheat lake in Morgantown.  We all thought something got a Hold of her untill they started cleaning her up and did x rays only to find out she has been shot. And was picking metal out of her wound. She's gotta have surgery Monday and go back for several bandage changes and medicine, I'm asking anyone to donate if they can. If not just keep my poor pup in your prayers, I'm so hurt that someone would actually shoot someone's dog. She's so loving and friendly all she did was wag her tail when she was up on that table to get looked at.  Any bit helps. Since I won't be able to take her home today her vet stay just got a little more expensive. They gotta keep her since her red blood count is down as well as her protein. She was supposed to come home today to save on vet costs, but with her being home with me she wouldnt be able to get the pain meds and antibiotics she needs. She's not eating anything really and doesn't want bothered. She was in pain most the night. So they gave her more pain meds. I wanna save my dog she is only 2 years old and still has so much life ahead of her, Thank you to everyone who already donated, shared my post and is praying for her. I'm doing everything i can to save my dog and her leg.

Where the wound is The skin keeps falling apart her musle tissue is dying if they put the plate in its not gonna heal well it needs good musle tissue for the plate to hold and they don't have it. The muscle tissue keeps pulling apart and dying. They said the best option would be to amputate her leg She's in alot of pain right now and they have her on higher pain meds. They said she'll heal faster this way. As much as I wanted to save her from losing her leg there's really no chance. I know she's in the best care possible. I just want my pup home.

She's gonna have the amputation today(Monday) some time in the afternoon. If ever thing goes good I will get her home tomorrow. She will have a tube in the wound for the drainage which Ill have to empty when needed. She'll go back in a week to get checked out, a bandage change, and if the drainage has stopped she'll get the tube out. If not she'll have to have it in longer. Then on her 2 week visit she should get the staples out. When she comes home she'll need to be watched only to go outside use the bathroom and right back in. less activity as possible, after the 2 weeks is up she should be able to go back to full mobility and activity. I'm hoping She's back home tomorrow so I can give her all the cuddles and love that she's missed out on when she was gone hoping for a speedy recovery! Carmella had her surgury and they amputated her leg. Everything went well. They took the dead muscle tissue out as mush as possible. She's now resting and if everything goes good through the night. She'll be able to come tomorrow. ❤(Tuesday)

She's finally home! They have her on 4 different meds. She didn't like when I put her in the cage so I just left the door open and let her lay on me. She got her pain meds and her sound drained hoping for a fast 2 weeks!
