Mom’s Breast Cancer Journey

Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

In April 2024, my mother, Crystal (Chris) received a life-changing diagnosis: breast cancer, ER+ PR- HER2/NEU+. Mom is facing a challenging journey ahead, she has justundegone a lumpectomy surgery in June and will now require chemotherapy, radiation and other treatments. While the road ahead is going to be long and tough, we are confident that mom will win.

We are organizing this fundraiser to help cover the medical expenses and provide mom with some financial relief so she doesn’t have to worry about anything except getting better. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a significant difference and mean the world to her. She has had much stress in her life this last year with a new house that has been nothing but problems. She also is without potable water and requires another treatment system to be installed under her kitchen sink. This costs about $750. This after just having a water system installed a couple months ago. We would love to be able to have this taken care of for her as she won’t be able to lift the bottles of water anymore.

So as you can see, for someone who is supposed to be finally enjoying her life and her retirement she hasn’t had a break!
