My sister Nichole Rodriguez is 39 years old, wife and mother of two teenage sons. Less than a month ago she had a mammogram where something was found. She followed up with an ultrasound and biopsy.
Two weeks ago she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Aggressive high grade invasive ducal carcinoma, triple negative, stage 2.
She is facing many medical expenses. The plan of action is to have a port put in on May 30, followed by chemotherapy starting May 31. A bi-lateral mastectomy surgery will follow at a later date.
Even with medical insurance, her expenses have exceeded over $1,000 so far. Her doctors have advised her to not work while going through chemotherapy for the next 6 months.
Anything you could give to help with medical expenses would be helpful.
