Finding it hard to get around

In 2012 I had an automobile accident where  I was hit from behind by a non-insured motorist. I was in physical therapy close to six months and it took me close to three years to recover to the point where I could get around with a cane. I have never been able to go back to work because I am limited to the amount of time I can be on my feet or sitting down. I have been fighting for my disability for 5 yearsI have  been denied all  three times.In all this time it has not stopped me from caring for my wife which is disabled and my kids. Anyone that knows me knows that I get up every day in chronic pain and I do whatever I have to do to support my family. Unfortunately this week I slipped a disc in my lower back which is pinching my sciatica and not allowing me to put weight on my leg a pain like no other I have expieranced. I went to the clinic and got some meds and they have not made a difference .I don’t have much of a choice but to go to the hospital. In not having insurance the medical bills will ruin me. If this wasn’t bad enough
on the way home that same day my transmission to my car burned out. So My leg doesn’t work and my wheels don’t work , talk about it being difficult to get around. I know for a fact that I’m going to have to do Physical Therapy and pay out-of-pocket . As for the car, a new one is not an option or not even used so I’m going to have to get the car fixed but I first need to get on my feet to do any of this. In so many years I have not had to ask for help. I have gotten out of some tough spots but this had been a real blow to me and I find myself having to ask for help. This is very hard for me and I won’t reach out to any one directly just out of the embarrassment of having to ask for help. I know its very bad timing-during the holiday season-with everyone having their own commitments.
