A Celebration of Scott's Life

Donation protected
October 1, 1981- October 30, 2014
When Scott's wife, Jeanine, was 8 months pregnant with their son, Scott was diagnosed with Stage IV Diffuse Large b-Cell Lymphoma of the mediastinum.  When the baby was born, Scott was between chemo treatments and was able to attend the birth of his son. The following day he was admitted to the hospital for his next round, and Jeanine went home with the baby without Scott beside her.  It was not how it was supposed to be- not how it was planned.
Scott went through many different treatments, some harder to take than others, but none of them worked.  We were hopeful at times with some of the treatments, but the cancer was stubborn and kept fighting back.  Scott lost his fight to cancer on the morning of October 30,  just a few days shy of Dexter's first birthday.

As many of you know, Jeanine also has a special needs daughter, Kylee, who is  now12 years old. So between Kylee and the baby, Jeanine has her hands full as a single parent.

We were so humbled that a number of you have reached out to ask how you can help financially, so we have registered with this website.  Your generous donations (anything that you can give) will help offset some of Jeanine's expenses for Scott's memorial.  Any expense overage will be donated to the Lymphoma Research Foundation.

Thank you in advance for your generosity and kindness.
