Things We Lost In The Fire

In the early hours of Sunday, November 9, 2014, a fire was started outside of my apartment. Fortunately, neither my roommates nor I were inside, and everybody is uninjured. The damage caused was fairly extensive, and the apartment is uninhabitable. Living in New Orleans, one might expect to lose their home to a hurricane, if anything. Never did I imagine I would be receiving a voicemail first thing in the morning telling me my residence had been ruined by flames. But in spite of everything that was lost, my roommates and I can be grateful that we have our lives, our pets, and each other. Any donation from $1 to unlimited dollars would be greatly appreciated, as we try to move past this tragedy. And for those who can't donate, thoughts, prayers, hugs and well wishes are just as important. Thank you all!
