Puerto Rico Recovery Effort

Thank you to everyone that has inquired about the safety of my family after Hurricane Maria and offered to help. I grew up in a small town called Collores and seeing the devastation of my childhood home has been trying over the last week, but the resiliency of my family and friends brings some comfort. If you have already given to a cause to help recover efforts, thank you. If you are looking for a more direct way to invest in recovery efforts, I am personally trying to raise a minimum of $2,000 to help my family in Juana Diaz. We need to recover lost furniture, rebuild structures, reestablish the electrical connections, continue to purchase non parishable items, rebuild the livestock lost during the storm, etc. Although I know help is coming, I fear that much of it doesn't make it to more remote regions of the island and am hoping to expedite this process. Once I hit my goal, I will retrieve the funds and send it electronically to my family to disperse it. Thank you.
