Faith with Kendall (leukemia costs)

Donation protected
My grandson, Kendall, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL ) on March 31, 2015 just two days after he turned 18. This fund is to help with medical expenses and related travel for  necessary treatments, for moving the family to a new home closer to Asheville and just across the street from Memaw (that's me), and to help Kenny, my son, with new added expenses. Kenny is a single dad of four boys and Kendall will not be able to work to help due to his immune system being compromised.

The doctors at Mission Hospital expect Kendall to be in remission after the first month of treatments but will continue treatments for at least three more years to make sure he doesn't relapse.  He is currently getting oral meds daily at home and out-patient IV treatments weekly.  There will be occassional hospitalizations for some treatments,  bone marrow biopsies and spinal taps.

As shown in the photo, Kendall has a positive attitude and is looking forward to his dad, his brothers, and friends shaving their heads when he losses his hair. :) That should be starting pretty soon.

Kendall and the entire family are meeting this challenge head on.  Kendall is a fighter, a winner and survivor (he survived open heart surgery on 9/11/01). We have FAITH in GOD that Kendall will survive this also.

Please follow Kendall's story with the Faith With Kendall group on Facebook.
