GZA Help The Helpers COVID-19 Support
Donation protected
In this time of adversity to many members of our local communities,
Gamma Zeta Alpha will be launching an online fundraising campaign to support three (3) organizations that are directly assisting communities which we feel are most in need.
These organizations were selected for their work that directly contributes in a meaningful way to stem the impact of the pandemic on at-risk populations.
The organizations the Board of Directors, in conjunction with Chapter Presidents, have selected to raise funds on behalf of are:
- Variety Boys & Girls Club - Our vision is that all children will have an opportunity to excel in school and career, and contribute fully to society.
- Yolo Interfaith Immigration Network - YIIN is a group of people serving and advocating for immigrants in Yolo County. We believe that by working together we can make our community a better place for all of us to live and thrive.
- United Farm Workers - Working for a safe and just food supply
Due to the recent passing of our very own brother, Emiliano Hernandez, we are also going to be allocating a portion of the funds to help support his family.
Instructions:
When donating please pick one of the four organizations . The money will be split evenly, with the exception of the organization that gets the most donations which will get 40% and the other three will get 20% of the total raised.
Organization Team Captains:
Emiliano Hernandez - GZA BOD
Variety Boys & Girls Club - Jose Sanchez
Yolo Interfaith Immigration Network - Isaac Valdez
United Farm Workers - Jorge Aguirre
