Gypsy’s Feline Infectious Peritonitis Treatment

Hi, my name is Kalli and this is Gypsy. I adopted her from a local SPCA, right before Christmas. She is 9 months old, still a kitten, and was diagnosed with Wet FIP on Tuesday, July 13th. Until recently, FIP has been known as a fatal disease for cats. Gypsy was diagnosed with the wet form, which causes her stomach and eventually her chest to fill with infectious fluid which is fatal if not treated quickly and carefully. I was lucky enough to be directed to a wonderful group of people that offer treatment for this virus, but the treatment is 84 days long very expensive. I’m not normally the type of person to ask for help, but every last penny will help us to purchase the medicine, and the supplies we need to administer the medicine such as needles, syringes, vitamin supplements, and fluid lines for IV’s. I’m so scared of losing her, just like many other families out there affected by FIP. All I want is to be able to continue to give her the best life, and spoil her like she deserves. Any help is greatly appreciated!
